Consumer Rights
- Access to basic postal services and facilities at reasonable prices on a non-discriminatory basis;
- to the extent practicable , access to post offices in conformance with the provisions of The Persons with Disability Act, 2006 (Act 715);
- comparative information to facilitate choice between different providers and products;
- notification of the availability or termination of service especially the basic postal services;
- service quality that is not only commensurate with the price paid but that also meets the level stated by the operator/provider in the service contracts;
- be heard about quality, quantity, and tariffs regarding the serve/product offered;
- redress in the form of an effective complaints handling system concerning quality and handling for postal services and products purchased by the consumer;
- products and services that meet all health and security requirements;
- privacy and confidentiality regarding postal items tendered to operators for transportation and delivery;
- make representations to the PCSRC on matters pertaining to postal services and products that they have purchased.
