Consumer Obligation

Postal consumers have an obligation to:

  • Ensure that consumption of postal services and products is carried out in a manner that is not hazardous to the environment;
  • Remain vigilant and assertive so as to ensure that they receive a fair deal as consumers of postal services/products;
  • Postal all the postal equipment and facilities within their custody and vicinity;
  • Respect all national postal laws and regulations concerning the handling, security and confidentiality of mail.
